Upgrading the Clip Size is sort of helpful, but not entirely. With the exception of setting traps for a big fight, this weapon is sort of alright. It never seems to hold enough ammo to be as effective as players would like. LauncherĮven though this weapon can drop proximity mines, which can be helpful, it's not really the weapon most players would use as the main weapon.
BIOSHOCK 2 WEAPON UPGRADES UPGRADE
Players that stand behind a wall will get the same amount of protection as this upgrade would provide. The Reflector Upgrade uses a lot of fuel without doing much. It makes for the perfect weapon to catch those difficult splicers that want to rush players. This allows players to kill most splicers with a single drill dash. The most helpful is the Damage Increase upgrade. The drill burns a lot of fuel to use, so emptying the drill clip is easy, even with the upgrade. The weapon comes ready with three upgrades. The first upgrade is Fuel Efficiency, which is helpful but not necessarily the most helpful. Drill dash will allow players to cross great distances fairly quickly, making it great for rushing regular splicers or slipping past security cameras. However, once players get drill dash during Pauper's Drop level, the weapon will pick up its effectiveness. At first, this weapon seems unimpressive. The first weapon players will start with is the drill. Sometimes, to get better upgrades, players will have to get some upgrades that are alright at best. Each weapon has an upgrade that does something a little different, from increasing firepower to protecting against splash damage, each weapon upgrade can help players in their fight against splicers.Įach upgrade will happen in a particular order. Players will initially start with one weapon, but players will be given five additional weapons.
